Ski Cooper is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. They offer an exciting and affordable alternative to the hustle and bustle of bigger areas with all natural snow and a family orientated atmosphere.

Ski Cooper, located atop Tennessee Pass ten miles north of leadville on U.S. Highway 24, is Colorado's fifth oldest ski area. You are in for a treat at one of Colorado’s oldest and finest ski areas.

Ski Cooper is known for friendly employees and abundant, all natural powder snow. Building on its unusually rich history and prime location, Ski Cooper has in recent years earned recognition as one of the nation's most successful and innovative smaller ski areas.

Ski Cooper has an average snowfall of over 300 inches of snow each winter and is located in an area known for its world class skiing.

Family skiing is their focus and main atttribute. At Ski Cooper you can park and walk to the base area with ease and won't need to worry about misplacing members of the family and spending the day rounding them up.

Leadville is the highest incorporated town in the entire United States. It sits at 10,200 feet right at the bottom of Colorado's two highest mountains, Mount Elbert and Mount Massive. Leadville is at the headwaters of the Arkansas River, which after 1440 miles flows into the Mississippi.
