The North Face Women's Diad Jacket

This is a water proof rain jacket - wind breaker - nothing more
It fits true to size so if you plan to wear a fleece, sweatshirt or sweater underneath I recommend you up size. This jacket is extremely light, packs extremely tight. When bundled in a backpack it takes up very little space. When unwrapped after packing it does not exhibit any wrinkles. Nice.

Needs accompanying fleece
The other review is misleading, because this jacket is meant to go along with a fleece liner, like the North Face Denali, which makes it a snow jacket. Worn alone it is, of course, not very warm. Together I definitely recommended them. Perfect for snow days.

Lives up to its description
The jacket fits well for my small frame, however, the hood doesn't seem to provide adequate coverage for my head in the rain...this might just be due to my head size though.

Light, thin, not too warm.
The DIAD jacket is surprisingly thin. It is definitely good in the rain, but not so great at a snow jacket.
