good lightweight jacket
I was looking for something a little more technical, with a zipper, yet sweatshirt weight that would work for cool Southern California evenings, and this jacket definitely works well in that capacity. I would recommend this jacket on that basis. If you need something heavier, or windproof, then obviously get something else.

awsome
Great kept me warm and never sheds.

Great soft lightweight fleece, perfect match for S
Great soft lightweight fleece, perfect match for Southern Cali beach and mountain activities. Big plus is the ability to snap sleeves into waterproof shell for snowboarding, higher-altitude hiking, and off-shore fishing trips. Great addition to the all-purpose outdoors aficianado.

Good light jacket
The jacket is lighter than I thought it would be. It also sheds a lot even after a couple of washings. On the upside it is very comfortable and I would recommend it for wear under a heavy jacket in the winter when needed.

Great!
You desribe this jacket as light-weight, but a better description would be "perfect-weight." It's great for when it's a little chilly, or layer it for colder weather. Feels great, too.
