Kid's Tigger 20 Degree Sleeping Bag from The North Face

The North Face Kid's Tigger 20 Degree Sleeping Bag

Family backpacking and camping trips seem a lot more fun when kids sleep comfortably through the night. While we can't help you with midnight bathroom breaks we can certainly recommend this soft and warmly insulated Kid's Tigger Sleeping Bag from The North Face. Rated to 20F (-7C) the Tigger features a synthetic (and fast-drying) Climashield HL fill with an overlapping shingle construction that traps air far better than those cheap knock-offs you find on clearance at the discount sporting good stores. Smaller than adult-sized sleeping bags the Tigger reduces and usually eliminates those cold nightmare-inducing empty spaces inside larger bags--provided that your child isn't significantly shorter than four feet. The zippered hood can be left open for additional ventilation although The North Face eliminated elastic and cords around the head area for kid safety reasons (you'll find that the side zipper length is also significantly shorter). Other nice features on the Tigger include a chest-level heat-trap baffle and a forehead comfort tube. As before the Tigger has an excellent draft tube along the abbreviated side zipper to help kids stay warm through the night.
