A great buy !
I bought this for my daughter. It is extremely well tailored, and I didn't realize the Hyvent shell was waterproof so there ws no need for a shell under normal conditions. She has worn it pretty much on every trip we've done. It compresses down to nothing and the inner pocket is also a stuff sack. One thing for nit-pickers - the construction is sew-through (not baffle) so you are may encounter cold spots at the seams. (to be fair I have yet to find a baffle sewn down jacket in the US even among the high end range) However, practically, this does not pose a problem if you have a sweater onunderneath.

mmm, puffy...
i am a small-sized woman who was lucky to find this jacket for herself for such a great price! it was great and packed very small on a recent mountaineering trip up mt. adams, and i'm looking forward to taking it along again!

Perfect winter jacket!!
I bought this jacket for both of my daughters ages 6 and 9 and they both love it. It is the perfect winter jacket. It is very warm, but very light weight and not constricting at all!

my 13 year old daughter fell in love with a picture of this jacket and had to have it for her 13th birthday....it came fast...size and color perfect and she is the happiest i have seen her. great product.
