Like Tecnica's top-end Diablo series the Attiva V6 UltraFit Ski Boot uses a three-density construction but instead of a hard-medium-soft design process the soft material is used in the first injection for easier foot access and a conforming closure around the foot. What you end up with is a supportive boot with plenty of rigidity where you need it for energy transmission with better comfort features. The female-specific Attiva V6 UltraFit Ski Boot last also has the same increased volume found on the Diablo offerings but you'll find more space around the flared cuff for improved fit versatility around your calf. This leads us to our one caveat: If you have a narrow foot (in female sizes that is--not the modified unisex ski boots made by other companies) the expanded last in the Attiva V6 UltraFit Ski Boot might not fit you as close as you like for easy turn control. If your feet are marginally narrow you may find that a couple of layers of socks make a perfect fit. This said the Attiva V6 UltraFit Ski Boot has plenty of female-specific refinements that move it far apart from Tecnica's male ski boot designs. Other nice options include a flex adjustment knob in back for skiing hard or soft a removable Velcro® spoiler for forward lean adjustments and Tecnica's hinged Rapid Access closure for better lower leg support that doesn't hinder boot exits.
