Men's F22 Snowboard Boot from Salomon

Salomon Men's F22 Snowboard Boot

While it might not have the same stiffness and number of air cushions as the top-of-the-line F24 Salomon's F22 has enough of everything to take you far beyond those overstuffed and ordinary snowboard boots. When sized properly a Fusion boot creates the sensation of being much closer to the board in terms of feel than any similar snowboard boot. Salomon designed the F22 with a special Autofit Self 2 Reflex that allows the liner to adapt to the shape of your foot the first time that you put the boot on. Autofit Self 2 Reflex is a series of high density memory foam panels and low pressure air cushions--the most advanced configuration found in any Salomon snowboard boot liner. Salomon added Self 2 air cushions around the ankle areas (in two places hence the number 2) while covering everywhere else with the ultra-dense Autofit memory foam. The Powerlace pro soft lacing system is a customizable dual zone lace system that has user-friendly blocking system that simplifies lace adjustments faster than the normal Powerlace Pro. Polyurethane inserts inside the integrated active tongue help you customize the overall boot flex without compromising support. Essentially the more you tighten the one-pull quicklace the closer the fit you'll feel along the active tongue. At the top of the cuff you'll find an Easy-in gliding patch that makes it easier to slip your heel into the boot. The F22 features Salomon's proven Smart Fusion sole a popular choice for guys who want more feel in the toe area. The sole features EVA and rubber outsole components with ADIPRENE compound to help absorb landing shocks. If this price is still a little too steep but you're into the Fusion boot concept check out Salmon's slightly more flexible F20.
