Great Look
Lightweight and warm. The fit is great with good tailoring for the female form. Pockets could be roomier - for those of us who like to jam everything in our pockets......

Excellent all around vest
This vest has proved to be especially warm, great for layering, stylish (and flattering), and an absolute must-have for those whose interests correspond with the outdoors. I recommend this vest to anyone who spends a great deal of time in the cold. It does run a tad small, but it is the vest that you will grab when you're in a hurry on the way out the door.

So warm and stylish!
I recently purchased a patagonia down vest, I love it! It is extremely warm and comfortable without feeling too bulky. I will certainly be looking for more great deals at Altrec!

A versatile vest
Provides greater warmth than a fleece vest without the Michelin Man look found in heavier and perhaps warmer down vests. Svelte styling and close fit make it attractive--more urban than Mount Everest. Runs a tad small especially if you're planning to wear a heavy sweater underneath.

good warm vest, but not as warm as mountain hardwear
Patagonia vest is 700 fill, better than North Face, but Mountain Hardwear vest is 800 fill and nylon is silkier. However, I got a great price on Altrec for this vest and for what I paid, this is a good, quality down-filled vest. Patagonia is ridiculously overpriced in comparison to the quality and utility of the Mountain Harwear brand.
