Very nice lite weight boxes
Otter makes a series of dry boxes much like the popular old favorites made my Underwater Kinetics (K). UK's best feature, its full-length stainless piano hinges, are nicely duplicated by Otter. Thankfully, Otter duplicated the best features and functions that UK offers and then goes beyond it. A feature I have always wished for every time I pulled a UK box out of my dive bag was a clear base - I wanted a fully clear box - a simple concept that no one in the dive industry ever provided until Otter - it has it! Otter didn't stop there - they made other improvements such as a wider line of sizes allowing you to better match your purchase to your intended purpose, a beautiful fitted foam liner in the box base, a nice lanyard with barrel lock, and best of all - a set of latches which provide a lock a with a very reassuring CLICK without breaking your fingernails! Summary: the Otter boxes are a versatile, functional, and top quality dry boxes.
