No regrets about this purchase
I thought I'd use this bag for college, which starts in January for me, for carring my books and things with me on the bus each day. I started using it right away for bicycle commuting, and it works awesome for that too! Many people use a backpack on their bike commute, which almost always leads to a sweaty back. The messanger bag strap plus the waist belt help to evenly distribute the weight while not pressing against your skin, so less/no sweat! I've received quite a few compliments on the bag already from others (friends and strangers alike). Loaded it up with groceries from the market and was impressed by it's capacity and how easy the ride home was. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wildland Firefighter approved
I am a Wildland Firefighter and need the storage space for all the paperwork and gadgets we carry and the Transit meets my needs. It is comfortable to carry both in hand or on the shoulder and the construction is durable and the amount of pockets is perfect. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend this to anyone.

Excellent for students
I bought a bag for each of my high school sons and they love it. It is comfortable, looks sharp and protects their things while walking in the Oregon rain.

This bag is HUGE
I walk the streets of NYC every day, and this thing is ready to do the job. It's nice and light, it's got excellent computer protection, a comfortable and adjustable strap, convenient zipper pockets on top the main compartment. And speaking of the main compartment, it'll hold a LOT, and it has soem nice organization features. The problem with this bag? It's U-G-L-Y. Really ugly.

excellent for urban exploration
Just returned from travels in Belgium and Spain. The "transit" bag was perfect for my urban explorations. The "over the shoulder" strap works great with my winter coat. The bag was sized just right for my camera equipment, extra sweater, and note books. The side pouch for carrying a bottle of water is a must.
