A lifersaver
Best investment I made for this trip. I was in Virgin Gorda at the baths and they saved my toes and feet countless times from the rocks in the surf. On Dominica they saved my feet from getting bashed while tubing on some minor rapids during a river tube ride. Very comfortable and sturdy, not like other cheapie watershoes.

Awesome shoes
Took a vacation to San Andres Island Colombia. The shoes were so comfy, that i wore them all the time. They worked great in the water and out as well.

good product
I use my pilot water shoes for windsurfing. While I had to reset my footstraps, I found them immediately better than any other available in Hood River, Oregon. The closures still need some design work, however. The "D" rings rotate out of optimal position, and the velcro straps get twisted at passage through the rings. But most important,I best like the firm soles and toes protection. Thanks

velcro strap not good
I liked the water shoe with one exception. The velcro strap goes around the whole ankle. Then on both sides of ankle it has a plastic piece that it goes through. I think they should have the velcro attached to each side of shoe but stitched on. That way there would be no plastic piece to make the wearer uncomfortable.

Good foot protection
I purchased these as a precaution against sea urchins, they are not aggressive but you'll know if you've bumped into one at the beach.
