This pad is comfy but for the price it should beat anything. I'm not impressed with the quality or workmanship. After one week long flatwater trip sleeping on sandy beaches the material is already unraveling along the edges. It is also very hard to get air out of the pad when rolling up, maybe a valve problem.

goodbye therma-rest
this is the greatest sleeping pad ever. I just bought two of them and my wife and I spend three nights camped out on the living room floor. the next weekend I was guiding a three day trip on the deschutes river in Oregon. We took them down there and I slept like a baby. We fearlessly picthched out tent on gravel strewn beaches where few would dare to tread. We just got back from camping on the olympic peninsula and they were put to good use again. As long as weight isn't an issue these things are awesome!
