Mountain Hardwear Scrambler Backpack
Most daypack designs dont store well but Mountain Hardwears Scrambler Backpack has a folddown design so you can keep it in your car SUV or boat until youre ready to hit the trail Mountain Hard Wear optimized the storage design by eliminating the waistbelt so as long as youre hiking light with a shell lunch and water bottle the 1600cubicinch main compartment in the Scrambler Backpack should be more than enough room for an afternoon outing An exterior Front bungee design makes it easy to attach an extra layer or dry out a damp rain jacket The Scrambler Backpack has a drawcord closure beneath the attached lid to keep your gear protected from moderate precipitation

Class
This bag is class lightweight, great size ,strong ,perfect buy one now. For price this bag isnt challenged by anything ive seen.Alot stronger than it looks and deserves to be going by its weight.

Awesome lightweight pack
Great superlight pack for day hikes and/or summit bids. Love the capacity and how it stuffs into itself to take anywhere. The velcro strap is great for trekking poles, ice axe etc. Could use a place for a water bottle - other than that a perfect pack

Exactly what an 11oz. pack should be
I've used it on several Cascade volcanoes as a summit pack and it has performed wonderfully. The material is stronger than it feels and has stood up to many pokes with an ice axe and crampons. It disappears in a larger pack when stuffed into itself so the convenience for a quality summit pack is far beyond anything I've seen to date.

Travelling Super Light
I don't drag my pack up rock faces, I wear it while I run/fast hike through the wilderness. I love having a superlight pack like this. It ways less than 3/4 pounds.

The Jury is still out in this one....................
The Pack is very lightweight and seems to be somewhat practical for short distance day hiking (have not used it extensively) but at the same time it gives an overall "thin and breakable" feel. I was expecting a fabric that seemd a little more durable. Only time will tell and the price was "right"
