The warmest pants I have warn. They fit well. I would buy again
I like Mountain Hardware. I have had this shell on top of many mountains. They realy hold up.

Better than expected
I run in these. Construction is better than I expected and material was heftier and more durable than I expeted. The zippers on the legs extend the entire length of the pants, there is a reinforced area around the bottom of the pant, and the 2-direction fly helps when wearing a harness. I wear a base of Capilene 2 underneath and find this arrangement perfect for fall running.

Great in cold and wet. Vents well when it warms up.
Bought the jacket to check it out. Cold, wet climb-- stayed dry, sun came out and didn't bake. So I got the pants. They are durable and unzip so far they vent like shorts. Perfect for glacier travel where you can go from tanning factor 10 to a cold blue slot. Saves me hauling separate rain gear. Now if it was in a light color...
