Created with Leki's proven and highly popular Soft Antishock System (SAS) the Ultralite Ti Ergonomic AS has an ergonomically shaped positive angle grip that’s tilted forward exactly 15 degrees to move your wrist into a neutral position while holding the poles and improving shock absorption. The Soft Antishock System uses a combination of internal steel springs and elastomers to minimize vibration. Press and twist each pole to activate or deactivate the system so you can eliminate the spring on ascents and go for full cushioning on the gravity-aided trail descents. One of the new Leki features is a special Automatic Mesh Strap (AMS) that features a wicking liner sewn to the mesh to enhance breathable vapor-transfer performance especially if you're wearing lightweight gloves or mittens.
