Most comfortable yet.
I bought it for Alpine climbs, but I ended up also using it as my primary ice-climbing boot last winter. There is less ankle support then the burly Nepal Evo. This might be a concern if you plan on using it for mostly vertical ice. I prefer the higher degree of ankle flex with these boots to the Nepals. Remember that this boot has a front welt for crampons, so it will be a little more cumbersome on tricky rock then the Trango S.

Feeling good so far.
I was a bit wary of ordering a Trango-last boot off the internet since the last Trango boot I tried didn't feel very good. Gave it a shot though due to a good return policy and the fact that the boot had all the other specs I wanted. This boot felt like a slipper right out of the box. I have yet to take it out for multi-day trekking but on an initial 7 hour break-in hike it felt great, if a bit warm. No soreness, blisters, etc right out of the box. Stood in a running stream of 6 inches to test the waterproof and I was bone dry. Bottom line - don't be afraid to try it even if other Trango last boots haven't fit.

The Silver Bullet
The La Sportiva Trango Extreme Evo GTX is the silver bullet if the Tango boot line. Lightweight, fast and comfortable is the name of the game with this climbing boot. It has been designed for long, single day routes or multi-day climbing excursions where the temperature hovers around freezing. It has less weight and insulation than the Nepal Evo, (http://www.altrec.com/shop/detail/30410/?sch=clk) but it still climbs like a champ on steep alpine terrain and vertical ice. It also preforms impressively above freezing for light and fast alpine forays into the back country. For really warm weather where the climbing is good, you may want to head for the Trango S (http://www.altrec.com/shop/detail/19231/?sch=clk) . However, this specific boot is the warmest, lightest and fastest boot in its category. Please contact me with any questions. You won't be disappointed with this boot.
