Giro keeps the helmet light with a special in-mold construction that fuses a rugged polycarbonate outer shell with the impact-absorbing EPS liner. This innovative fusion also gives Giro a better medium for sculpting enhanced ventilation. Unlike the Nine.9 with weather strip vent plugs the G10™ has an adjustable Thermostat™ control that you can modify without removing the helmet. The skate-oriented styling is killer for the park or halfpipe but that shouldn't make freeriders feel like they are out of the picture. Giro kept the G10™ light with an in-mold construction that reduces the weight around the EPS liner without compromising the ASTM F2040 certification.
