Men's Eclipse XCR Hiking Shoe from Garmont USA

Garmont USA Men's Eclipse XCR Hiking Shoe

If you've often wished that your heavy hiking boots felt as comfortable as your running shoes then it's time you tried the Garmont Men's Eclipse XCR Hiking Shoe. While the G3+ Spine midsole offers excellent underfoot stability it's also designed to provide a smooth gait with easy forefoot flex. This gives it a feel similar to a running shoe yet the Vibram® outsole adds a dimension of toughness that makes the Garmont Men's Eclipse XCR Hiking Shoe feel secure on uneven paths whether rocky or muddy. The tread pattern has forefoot lugs that are oriented rearward for ascent and pointed forward in the heel area for confident descent. And speaking of muddy conditions a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® XCR® upper keeps the feet dry when forced to dodge puddles on a rainforest trail. Garmont's innovative Anatomically Directed Design® also contributes to the Men's Eclipse Hiking Shoe's all-day comfort. This series of features includes asymmetrical forefoot lacing that crosses the shoe at an angle similar to the foot's natural forward flex and a roomier toe box that's specifically meant to eliminate any constriction of the big toe. Carving out a little more room here improves stability comfort and propulsion.
