Ideal pad for my needs.
For summer camping i don't need an insulated pad. The Airmat 7.5 is light weight, inflates easily, deflates quickly, and takes up minimal space in my pack. I was pleased with the price also.

Awesome comfort until it leaks!
My girlfriend and I picked up a pair of these halfway through a cycling tour to the Yukon because we were sick of our old heavier-yet-thinner self inflating pad. They were amazingly comfortable until they both (within a month of each other; within two months of purchase) started developing very slow leaks. We treated them with care and there was no visible damage. The leaks were not detectable by ear or eye. Underwater though, you could see the failure: tiny bubbles developing alond a "threadline" in the fabric. Not on a seam, but on the actual fabric of the pad. Unfortunately this is not patchable because dozens of spots developed. The mats stayed full long enough to fall asleep, but within a couple hours you'd wake up with your hip pressed against the ground, then have to give it 4 or 5 more breaths. Needless to say, the last month or so of the trip was not as pleasant as the first month. We returned both no-questions-asked at a local supplier (direct exchange) but within 2 days, one of the replacements was doing the same thing! I weigh 200lbs so maybe they only had the lightweights in mind when they designed these? Either that or the quality assurance is really poor. Luckily the warranty is good, but that doesnt help much if the leak develops hundreds of miles (by bicycle) away from the nearest dealer. By the sounds of it (talking to the local dealers), this is a standard problem with the airmat but never happens with the downmats....

Very good product
I bought this for my very lean wife who gets cold easily and slept poorly from feeling the ground hard on her hips and prominences through self inflatables and non inflateables. She has slept well since getting this pad and is extremely happy. It was a very good buy and would I recommend this pad.
