great bag
Very functional bag, both duffel and backpack. Lots of useful pockets and water proof material is slick. Looking forward to using it for climbing and many other activities.

Perfect Carry-On
This pack measures exactly the 9" x 14" x 22" carry-on limits that United and a lot of airlines have. The teardrop shape means you lose a little of those nine inches of height as you head up the bag but it is still plenty big for a week's worth of clothes. Love the double zippers on the center panel. Makes it easy to get into the pack. You can unzip with just on zipper in a hurry. The two inside mesh organizer pockets run almost the whole length of the bag. The padded center panel pocket is of limited use since it is pretty shallow (I could not fit my sunglasses in this thing) and when you lay the bag flat it will be at the bottom of your stuff so I use it for my notebook/guidebook. Not so sure how weatherproof this pack will be. The PVC is waterproof but it looks like water could get in through the zippers. Love the tuck-away backpack straps but there is no provision for quickly removing/installing the straps. You have to reverse the straps out of the buckles in order to tuck the shoulder straps into the back panel and do the same to the waist strap to remove it (it comes completely off). Still not bad considering the suspension system is a real one. This is a full 22" length pack so if you don't have a long torso it might be a bit overwhelming as a backpack. It carries real well as a duffel. The top handles are pretty comfortable for carrying suitcase-style.
