Few Snow Showers

Loch Lomond offers skiing, snowboarding and tubing and is located just 10 minutes from Thunder Bay off of Highway 61 North in Ontario.

At Loch Lomond the snow is almost guaranteed thanks to the investment in some rather juicy snowmaking equipment. They have increased their snowmaking capacity and acquired a Lenko Airless articulating snow gun designed specifically to snow-in the half pipe.

They pump 1200 gallons/minute from 3 large reservoirs. A mid station pump is now installed at the top of the Giant to up the pressure by 200 psi at the top of the mountain to accommodate the new HKD guns. These guns are the top in technology for air/water efficiency. You will see these towering guns all over the mountain in November to January. Mother nature usually takes over with only touch ups required in February and March.
