Crowded on the weekends

I live in Germany so I have visited many resorts in Austria and Ishgl isn't at the top of my list. It was extremely crowded on the weekend and the snow quality was only good on the top half of the mountain. Even though there is like 4000ft vertical 2000ft of it is a waste. All the top trails spill into 3 or 4 trails that take you to the bottom of the mountain. These trails are crowded pushed off and there isn't any off piste skiing allowed in the lower section, plus the last 1000ft of vertical is equivalent to east coast riding. If you want a excellent ski mountain go some where else in Austria, but if you want to experience the Euro Apre's ski and nighlife this is a good place to go. Plus the fashion police will be out in force. If you want no lift lines and better snow conditions go up the road to Gaulter. Its smaller but the base of the mountain is mush higher in elevation, so you can get a full run with good snow conditions.
